~Hello out there~

cool isn't it? I told you guys it would be a good idea to send in those Christmas cards for the Holiday Project XP unfortunately, I've only got a month, so I think this is gonna be the best my journal's ever gonna be. Anyway, I'm glad we got the whole Art Club at my school to pitch in a draw a card or too, they turned out great! Hope more of you guys send some next year. I'm thinking a month's subscription should be enough...

So yeah, anyway, I'm still here...for those who have left me and left my page a dead zone...

but I'm SO thankful for you guys that still visit once in a while...gives an artist a little bit of hope.

Anyway, my school's super strict and has got me on chains and that big heavy round thing chained to my ankle, so I haven't been able to get much done; not even much of the book I'm getting paid to illustrate

but yeah, I'm trying to start my manga soon...thought of a great plot and whatnot...just need to get it off the ground. I'm also still trying complete my photoshop painting project...which is turning out amatuerish, but that's what practice is for neh? ^_^

So yeah, if anyone wants to send me an art trade or something so I have an excuse to draw, please do ^_^ And thanks so much again for the supporters who are still hanging on their last bit of patience. xP I swear, I'll try to get something in soon.

Sorry I haven't been around on your account much, Sushi-chan

I've been through a bit myself recently and I've been supah busy. Not to mention being on a trip so I never know when I can even get online.

Anywayz, I'm glad to see that you're still alive and kickin. And that you're still drawing! You've even got a manga idea to start??!!one1?! You HAVE to note me with more details! (to keep it secret and shtuff, ya know)

And I'd love to do an art trade with you again. I'm kinda in a drawing slump myself. So whatcha wanna do for it??

lol mkay...how about...

Well, I think Amaya would be fun to do gothic lolita in. So I'll do her. And since that's not really in Ayame's character (even moreso than kimonos XD)How about you do my SpiritSong Character, Raven Crest, instead? She's got the punk look to her XD

Or! If you wanted to do something out of character again, you could also do Aika Kazumi from SpiritSong instead. It's your choice. ^_^

And of course, if you have a different idea about characters, like some anime characters or something, then by all means suggest it.

I'll reply to your note after I go eat some dinner XD

well there are different types of lolita; gothic lolita's just one of them, i could put Ayame in a normal lolita ^_^

Heh...alright. If you wanna do an Ayame/Amaya trade again that's fine. So I guess the official theme this time is "lolita" ^_^ This will be a good test to see how much we've both improved since the last trade

Oh, and a few notes and questions and stuff:

-Just to check: Lolita is basically frills upon frills upon girly fluffy frills and other girly features, right? And then a "gothic" lolita would include mesh, dark colors or black, and other goth stuff, yes?

-And when you draw Ayame: I've actually been revamping her look. I haven't posted the new Character Sheet for her yet cuz I haven't gotten around to coloring it. So before you make the pic, you might like to know the changes right? Ayame's hair has gone from red to pure white (I thought it'd make more sense to have a strange Hyuuga have inverted hair color) Also, her eyes aren't blue anymore. I've changed them back to pale, Hyuuga white, but with a slight blue tint (like Hinata has a slight purple tint to her eyes?)

Other than that, Ayame is the same as ever. Tomboyish and brash. Only other changes are her outfit, which doesn't matter much in this trade XD and her hairstyle in my series is more of a teardrop shape now with the headband on her forehead. Again, these things prolly won't effect your piece, but I thought you should know anyway.

So yeah, let's have some fun!
